This study aims to determine the effect of the Application of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Learning Model on Students' Speaking Ability in Indonesian Language Subjects in Class IV SDN Sumurwiru. This research is a Pretest Experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population in this study were all fourth grade students at SD Negeri Sumurwiru, totaling 24 students. The sampling technique in this study is the sampling technique. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing (Wilcoxon). The results of the study showed that (1)
students' speaking ability in Indonesian language subjects in class IV SDN Sumurwiru, Cibeureum District, Kuningan Regency before using the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Learning Model, was still lacking with an average
score of 62.08. (2) The ability to speak Indonesian language students in class IV SDN Sumurwiru, Cibeureum District, Kuningan Regency, after using the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Learning Model, was good with an average score
of 78.63. (3) There is an influence on the application of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Learning Model on students' speaking ability in Indonesian language subjects in class IV SDN Sumurwiru, Cibeureum District, Kuningan Regency, with an Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000.
