This study aims to: 1) find out the description of students' interpersonal communication in general, 2) find out the description of students' interpersonal communication in general in terms of gender variables (male and female) 3) formulate a guidance and counseling program related to students' interpersonal communication at SMP Negeri 1 Cimerak in the 2021/2022 school year. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The samples in this study were 140 students in grades VII, VIII and IX of SMP Negeri 1 Cimerak with sampling using simple random sampling technique. The data collection instrument used in this study was an interpersonal communication questionnaire and then analyzed using score processing techniques and data categorization. Furthermore, the results of this study indicate that: 1) interpersonal communication of students of SMP Negeri 1 Cimerak in general in the category of very high as many as 1 person (1%), high category as many as 3 people (2%), medium as many as 57 people (41%), and low as many as 78 people (56%), 2) interpersonal communication skills of students of SMP Negeri 1 Cimerak in terms of gender variables (male and female) show that men in the category of very high as many as 3 people (5%), high as many as 19 people (29%), Based on the above data, the Guidance and Counseling program is formulated related to the field of personal and social development with the sub-field of interpersonal communication of students at school.
