STRATEGI PENERIMAAN PESERTA DIDIK BARU (PPDB) PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI TK KHADIJAH PANDEGILING SURABAYA

The purpose of this research is to find out how the New Student Admissions (PPDB) strategy at TK Khadijah Pandegiling Surabaya and can provide information for other schools in implementing the New Student Admissions strategy (PPDB) during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach with a naturalistic perspective (naturalistic inquiry) and the presentation of non-statistical data analysis. This research took place at TK Khadijah Pandegiling Surabaya. Besides that, it is also because of the ease of access to conduct research. Data collection used three techniques, namely: (1) Interview (2) Observation and (3) Study of documentation. The results of this study can outline that the strategies implemented by schools in the New Student Admissions process (PPDB) during the Covid-19 pandemic are as follows: 1.The concept of trial class is online play activities through the Zoom application that candidates can participate in. students with parents at home with simple tools and activity materials, 2.Chat together, namely having conversations with the guardians of students at the school through live video broadcasts on the Instagram application that can be seen directly, 3. Playing Together (Mabar), namely a game demonstration activity simple from the teacher which is broadcast directly through the Instagram application, 4. Animated learning videos that are distributed through social media, namely Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc. 5. Brochure distribution activities through Friday blessings, where the teacher distributes packaged rice every Friday and inside the packaged rice crackle are tucked in school brochures and 6. Give discounts on school payments and gives the opportunity to pay several times over a period of time. determined by the school.
