PENGARUH TEKNIK MODELLING TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN GOSOK GIGI ANAK

This research is motivated by the importance of developing children's teeth brushing skills at the Nagari Koto Anau Tapan Kindergarten. The aim of the research is to determine the influence of modeling techniques on children's toothbrushing skills in Nagari Koto Anau Tapan Kindergarten, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach using the form of a Quasi Experiment. The research population involved all children at the Nagari Koto Anau Tapan Kindergarten, with 12 children from classes B1 and B2. Interviews, structured observation, and documentation are data collection methods. And for data analysis, normality, homogeneity and hypothesis tests are used. The data collection tool is a statement sheet. Next, the data was processed using hypothesis testing (t-test) using SPSS 19.0. The sig (2-tailed) value is 0.02, which is smaller than 0.05. As a result, there were significant differences between the experimental class and the control class. So, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Therefore, the result is that the use of modeling techniques has an impact on children's ability to brush their teeth. So the conclusion is drawn that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So, the use of modeling techniques affects children's teeth brushing skills.
