Abstract
This research discusses cognitive development in early childhood through various learning methods. Early childhood enters a golden age where they are more receptive to information and imitate the surrounding environment. Early childhood education is important to prepare children in their physical and intellectual aspects. Children's cognitive development is divided into sensorimotor and preoperational stages, where children learn through direct experience and recognize symbols. The results showed that activities such as watching cartoon videos, cooking, singing, playing educational games, and science activities can improve children's cognitive abilities. The research method used was a literature review by analyzing ten related articles. From the results of the research, it is concluded that various activities that involve direct interaction with the material can make a positive contribution to early childhood cognitive development.
