Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) Children's activities in playing Loose Parts in group B RA Al-Kautsar District Panyileukan Bandung City, (2) Fine motor skills of early childhood in group B RA Al-Kautsar District Panyileukan Bandung City, and (3) The relationship between the activity of playing Loose Parts with fine motor skills of early childhood in group B RA Al-Kautsar District Panyileukan Bandung City. The research method used by researchers is quantitative research and the approach used is product moment correlation. The research subject was group B RA Al-Kautsar Bandung City with a sample size of nine children. The data analysis techniques used were validity test, reliability test, normality test, linearity test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the activity of playing Loose Parts in group B RA Al-Kautsar had an average value of 76 which had the criteria of Developing As Expected (BSH). Fine motor skills of early childhood in group B RA Al-Kautsar has an average value of 77.5 which has criteria Developing As Expected (BSH). The results of the product moment correlation analysis obtained show the correlation result r count 0.890 at a significant level of 5% obtained the result 0.890> 0.666. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a very strong relationship between the activity of playing Loose Parts and the fine motor skills of early childhood in RA Al-Kautsar, Panyileukan District, Bandung City.
