Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the implementation of stimulation of children's social abilities when new normal in Kindergarten Negeri Pembina 01 Air Haji Pesisir Selatan. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method where data collection is done by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Observations are made by observing the implementation designed and implemented by the teacher and observing children in the learning process using observation instruments. Interviews were conducted with classroom teachers and interviews were conducted regarding the implementation of stimulation of children's social abilities when they were new to normal. documentation is taken from the teacher's process of designing learning, the process of the teacher implementing the learning, the process of the child learning and other documentation needed. Data analysis connects the results of observations, interviews with theory and appropriate books. The results of this study are the implementation of stimulation of children's social abilities when new normal is carried out as usual, which differs only during the implementation of learning. At the time of the new normal, the learning time is only given for two hours and the child is divided into two shif, namely there is a morning shift and a day shift, so that in stimulating the social skills of children, they experience a lack of time and children also get less time to interact with their environment.
