The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the application of the reading tree media influences the literacy skills of children at Raudhatul Jannah Kindergarten. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using the One Group Pretest–Posttest Design model. The study involved twenty children from Group B as a single experimental group, without a control group for comparison. To examine whether there was a significant difference before and after the intervention, descriptive statistical analysis and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test were employed. The findings revealed that the children’s literacy skills during the pretest had an average score of 1.6375, categorized as Emerging (MB). After the implementation of learning activities using the reading tree media over several sessions, the posttest score increased to 2.9875, categorized as Developing as Expected (BSH). The results indicated that the use of the reading tree media had a significant effect on improving early childhood literacy skills. The Wilcoxon statistical test showed a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Therefore, the reading tree media can be recommended as an effective, engaging, and developmentally appropriate tool for enhancing literacy learning in early childhood education.
