Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to know SCIENCE learning using the active learning strategy of Everyone is a Teacher Here (ETH) can affect the critical thinking ability of the student class V (five) MI. This type of research is quantitative with the Quasy Experiment method and the design used is Posttest-only control design. The population in class V A and V B as much as 79 learners. Samples taken with purposive sampling techniques. Data collecting tools include tests, non-tests, and documentation. Essay-shaped test instruments using test-t statistical analysis. Based on the research results known in the experimental class with learning Strategy Everyone is a Teacher Here (ETH) obtained an average value of 76. While the control class which uses Instant Assesment strategy averages 68. T test results critical thinking with a level of significance 5%. The result was 0.000 < 0.05 so Ha accepted. Based on the test-T criteria of the obtained results showing Ho rejected and Ha accepted means that there is a strategy influence Everyone is a Teacher Here (ETH) against the ability of critical thinking.

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan  strategi belajar aktif tipe Everyone is a Teacher Here (ETH) dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V (lima) MI. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Quasy Experiment dan desain yang digunakan adalah Posttest-only control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas V A dan V B sebanyak 79 peserta didik. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Alat pengumpulam data berupa tes, non tes, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen tes berbentuk essay dengan menggunakan analisis statistik Uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui pada kelas eksperimen dengan strategi pembelajaran Everyone is a Teacher Here (ETH) diperoleh nilai rata-ratanya 76. Sedangkan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan strategi Instant Assesment rata-ratanya 68. Hasil uji t berpikir kritis dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasilnya yaitu 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima. Berdasarkan kriteria uji-t dari hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya bahwa terdapat pengaruh strategi Everyone is a Teacher Here (ETH) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis.
